Alpenrallye Sponsors with a Classical Spirit

Alpenrallye sponsors

Strong sponsors with great enthusiasm for automobile traditions have always been counted among the strengths of the Kitzbüheler Alpenrallye. In addition to Bentley Motors and the Schaeffler Corporate Group, since 2017 the vintage automobile insurer OCC has been included among the select group of Alpenrallye sponsoring partners.

Bentley is back! The British Vintage Brand is a Prime Sponsor of the Alpenrallye.

Our long-term partner, Bentley Motors, celebrated their return to the Kitzbüheler Alpenrallye 2017 as a prime sponsor of this traditional event. Bentley combines a long partnership with the Alpenrallye and had been a prime sponsor from 2000 to 2009. In recent years, the Brits were still involved in Kitzbühel as a part of the Volkswagen Group – and then in 2017 the traditional brand from Crewe has moved back into the first rank. Even over the last several years, Bentley has been represented by about a dozen pre-war vintage automobiles in Kitzbühel (usually at a higher “Bentley density” than the Mille Miglia). And so for 2019, we again await a particularly high-carat appearance of the British cult-classics – in the year of Bentley's centenary.

Schaeffler: Technical Innovation in Vintage and New Automobiles.

As long ago as 2002, the Schaeffler Corporate Group, whose components are again found in most of the rare automobiles in the Alpenrallye, has been a prime sponsor of this traditional event. This time as well, the German Corporate Group will place their own Werksteam in the rally and Schaeffler’s numerous “hidden” technical innovations from prior decades will also appear in the team vehicles on the Alpine highways. Today the Schaeffler product portfolio includes innovative systems for engines, transmissions and chassis, and also components for hybridizing of the drive train and for e-mobility.

The Vintage Insurance Specialists of OCC.

The vintage insurance specialists of OCC became sponsors of the traditional rally in 2017. More than 30 years ago, OCC was among the first merchants to offer special insurance coverage for vintage automobiles. Since then, the company has specialized in insuring exclusively historical and modern classical automobiles. OCC is an independent, owner-operated company and the only one of its kind in German-speaking countries. At the Alpenrallye OCC also displayed their vintage competency in another field: Supported by the classical specialists of the “Scuderia Tedesco,” OCC provided the technical administration and route service for the 2017 rally.
